Markus Stromeyer is a swiss composer and pianist. With his music he touches people on a deep, emotional level.

His compositions have their own character.

The melodies invite you to dream and meditate and open up images of thoughts and fantasies from nature and distant lands.

On youtube there are numerous films with the music of Markus Stromeyer published. These films were made by his wife, the artist Renate Stromeyer.

Both the concerts and the studio recordings are improvisations, all without written notes.

From his 2010 concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the CD "Live at Montreux" was created.

The piece "Pour Claude" is dedicated to the founder of the festival Claude Nobs, with whom he is connected in deep friendship and gratitude.

The studio recordings were played on a wonderful Steinway D grand piano.

If you bring a mat or a blanket, you can lie directly under the grand piano during concerts - an incomparable and intense sound experience.
